TempDesign™ is a two-piece component which functions as a base for a temporary restoration at implant level. By using TempDesign the soft tissue can be sculptured in an anatomically optimal shape, creating a good foundation for an esthetic final result. The abutment can easily be customized chairside at the clinic or at the dental laboratory.

Modification
The plastic cylinder of the TempDesign™ can easily be modified chairside for making a temporary crown/temporary bridge used as a screw -retained restoration.

Crown fabrication
The restoration is fabricated using traditional methods. A guide pin can be used to keep the screw access hole free from plastic material.

|
Finalizing
After the temporary restoration is fabricated, it can be placed in an implant replica and mounted in the grinding handle for final adjustments. Note: When the temporary restoration is made in the dental laboratory the color-coded lab screw should be used.

Installation
The temporary restoration is seated and tightened using the hex screwdriver and the torque wrench.
Note: Cementation of a temporary restoration is an option when the screw access hole is in an unfavourable position.
